Emotional Abuse Recovery Group (Narcissistic Abuse Recovery)
This group will consist of a safe environment ot learn to identify emotional manipulation and abuse and how to recover from these types of relationships. Perhaps you have dealt with a Narcissistic parent or partner or someone who has continually gaslighted you and caused you to question yourself, or find yourself in a toxic relationship where you no longer feel yourself. Regardless of what you have dealt with, we can find a way to learn, empower ourselves, and heal to become a fuller version of ourselves. This class is both a psychoeducation group and a process group.
Dating After Abuse Group
You have gotten yourself out of an abusive cycle, whether that is with your family of origin or your previous partner, but now what? How do you identify red flags? How do you know you are ready to date? Who are you now that abuse is behind you, and what are you looking for? How do you manage codependent tendencies? In this class, we will examine these issues and more, so you feel more confident in pursuing healthy relationships.
Notes: Both classes rotate regularly and are closed groups, meaning that once people enroll, we do not leave enrollment open so people can feel safe to share without worrying about who is coming and going. The class is both a psychoeducation class and a process/support group. They meet online for 6 total sessions, and individual support is provided if needed throughout the group. Group participants are vetted to ensure they are a good fit for the group and to maintain participants' emotional safety.
